The Newly elected and inducted Political leader of the opposition Movement for Economic Empowerment (MOVEE) Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah Sr. has vowed to hold the government feet to the Political fire in the interest of the people.

Speaking following his election and induction at the third emergency convention of the party, Amb. Kemayah said every party is a government in waiting as such, it is key that they flag out the necessary issues for the betterment of the nation and its people.

“That is why in MOVEE, we continue to champion and uphold the tenants of Democracy and the rule of law evidence of the visible democractic process conducted here today”, he re-emphasized.

According to him, it has not been an easy process leading to the successful end of the convention but due to the repeated energy and passion of the party especially by partisans across the Country, they were able to achieve another democratic milestone within their political institution.

Amb. Kemayah speaking for the first time following their recent issue within the party , commended all those who helped in ensuring that peace is sustained within the party.

“In the absence of peace, we all would not have been here as such, I want to say a big thank you to all those who work to ensure that our party is once more peaceful and it is my fervant prayer that God will bless everyone who worked to ensure peace and civility to the party”, he reechoed.

At the same time, he appreciated the delegates who brave the storm from across the fifteen Counties to form a party of the National emergency convention of the party stating that their sacrifices and commitments to the party is unmeasurable.

The MOVEE Political leader used the occasion to forgive all those who publicly branded him negatively during their recent months of in- house crisis.

“Those people who had issues with me and the party even in my absence are all here today and with pureness of heart, they are forgiven and accepted back to the party evidence of some of them playing a pivotal role in today’s convention “, he told the gathering.

He stressed that he remained open and embraced everyone as a good leader.

“Divide can’t do us any good as a party, together, we stand and MOVEE is moving forward and Liberians expect high of us, let’s use constructive means to resolve issues”, he encouraged his partisans.

Meanwhile, the third national emergency convention of MOVEE witnessed by a representative of the National Elections commission and other opposition political parties ended with the election and induction of several officials and National Executive Committee members of the party along with Ambassador Kemayah to include: Prince Mehn (National Chairman), Abraham S. Nyemah (National Vice Chair for Administration), Johnson Weah (National Vice Chair for Mobilization, Recruitment and Membership), Jeremiah Edison Paye (National Secretary General), Samuel Coleman (National Vice Chair for Communications and Media Relations, Darius Doe (National Vice Chair for Inter-Party and NEC Affairs), K.
