President George M. Weah of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) has assured the citizens of Grand Cape Mount County, particularly those in Rebortsport City, more development if he is re-elected as president on October 10, 2023.
The President made this announcement during his ongoing campaign tour.
President Weah emphasized that it is the government’s duty to fulfill the desires and needs of the people.
He urged residents of Rebortsport City and Grand Cape Mount County to support him for a second term so that he can continue the development projects initiated during his administration.
Over the past six years, the President highlighted his government’s achievements, including the construction of roads, hospitals, and schools, as well as improvements in the agricultural sector, tourism, and electricity.
President Weah also commended his administration for maintaining peace and stability in the country.
In his address, President Weah encouraged first-time voters to trust him with their votes, assuring them that he will not disappoint.
He called on all CDCians in Grand Cape Mount County to turn out in large numbers on October 10 to re-elect him and ensure the completion of his development agenda.
Hon. Edwin J. Kowah, the Mayor of Rebortsport City, warmly welcomed President Weah and pledged their support for his candidacy.
Mr. A. Emmanuel Kaiwu, the CDC coordinator of the Commonwealth district, expressed his team’s determination to secure a one-round victory for President Weah.
Their efforts involve mobilizing support through direct interactions with the residents.
Mr. Daniels Nama Nills, the president of the Mano River Youth Parliament in Grand Cape Mount County, thanked Senator Edwin M. Snowe Jr. for his coordination in the House of Senate for the BMMC act.
He also expressed gratitude to President Weah for various development projects implemented during his administration.
Mr. Nills requested the president’s support in equipping the youth center in Robertsport with computers and educational materials.
Miss Teteh Jawara, speaking on behalf of the first-time voters in the Commonwealth district, commended President Weah for his efforts in improving education and access to electricity.
She assured the president of their commitment to securing a one-round victory and highlighted the pressing need to address the Robertsport Madina road under his administration.
