She at the same time appreciated the work done by the professional doctors, nurses and health workers at the 14 Military Hospital and encouraged them to do more.

Comprising 34 women residing in the USA and behind, Madam Solo assured the hospital and Liberians in general that they remain committed to making needed interventions back home.

Madam Solo’s statement was flanked by the project manager of Glamorous Girls Of Delaware Valley Edith Tarn who also appreciated the work done by healthcare professionals in Liberia.

She urged Liberians to put the past behind and work to together to help move the Country forward.

Well, In response, Maj. Dr. Tarnue Woheel
Deputy Commander (XO) OB- GYN Specialist at 14 Military Hospital thanked the group for the kind gesture to them.

“We are happy for the donation and we can assure you that these items will be well managed and used for the intended purpose “, he reechoed.

Dr. Woheel also used the ocassion to encourage others to follow the good example of the Glamorous Girls Of Delaware Valley in order to help patients and the sector in general.

Over the period of the group’s existence, the Glamorous Girls Of Delaware Valley identified with students in the USA through their back to school initiatives as well as the donation of food and non food items to Liberians during the COVID-19 crisis including the water pump project at a school in brewerville, among others.

Meanwhile, members of Glamorous Girls Of Delaware Valley promise to do more for Liberians and to also extend such initiatives to rural parts of Liberia in the near future.
