Liberia’s Ambassador at large for youth and sports development, Amb. Alioune Kebe has embarked on community outreach initiatives in Montserrado County.
As a means of further empowering local communities through sports, Amb. Kebe donated quality sporting materials to residents of Jamaica Road.
The donated items include; Footballs and jerseys respectively.
According to him, his gesture is to support local talents whilst ensuring a better future for them.
Kebe who spend the day with the local residents stated that he was impressed with the performance of local talents within the community.
He told the gathering that his initiative is also intended to help promote the skills and talents of Liberia’s future leaders.
The community outreach activities by Amb. Kebe which he promise to gradually continue will help bring relief to some communities who are struggling with the lack of sporting materials.
The sporting sector of Liberia has and continues to experience huge challenges especially with support and investment.
In the wake of these challenges, there are raw talents in and around the Country that are focused and determined to make a change in the sector but needs a financial push in said direction.
With the involvement and investment by Amb. Kebe to help change the dynamics, hope is said to be alive for the sector.
