In a jubilant style, residents of District #11, Montserrado County hailed the massive Development Package unveiled to them by their lawmaker during a one day engagement.
Branded as the political godfather of the District, Speaker Koon disclosed a massive development plan for his people.
As the residents cheer, Hon. Koon disclosed that District #11 Montserrado County will no longer be the same.
He assured his constituents that going forward, development initiatives will impact the lives of his people and the district in general.
Among other things, Speaker Koon named the construction of playgrounds in the district, construction and renovation of sports and educational facilities, and the empowerment of women through loans.
Unlike before, loan beneficieries will have 50,000 in their bank account, and as such, encourage them to take advantage of the bank process.
“From five, it will be increased to ten in each capacity,” he added.
Speaker Koon also promised to donate and present two and three kekehs to each parking area within the district on a work and pay basis in order to provide more opportunities to help empower other young people.
As part of his massive ongoing development plans, Hon. Koon has renovated and constructed the Dixville Public School while ongoing road works are taking place at the barnesville junction.
Moreover, he promised to connect roads within the district in order to move the district forward.
Hon Koon used the ocassion to encourage his people to be united and to work together to help move the district and Country forward.
